Summary: Some recent rain including today, installed Arable unit, fixed bird spikes on sonic
Sherman Wetland 2019-09-18 Daphne and I arrived at 9:45. It was overcast and mild with rain in Berkeley on the way out. The wetland is still mostly green with some yellowing in patches. Some of the tules seem to be blooming again. The water level was 88.5cm. The 7500 read: 395ppm CO2, 731mmol/m3 H2O, 20.7C, 101.4kPa, 98SS – 99 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 38RSSI – 85 after cleaning. The 7700 had bird poop on the lower mirror and there were spider webs on the eddy sensors. The bird spike on the sonic were all knocked askew. I replaced most of the cable ties when I fixed the spikes. The miniDot data was collected and its desiccant was swapped. It needs new copper mesh next time. The water level desiccant was swapped. I reinstalled the Arable sn A001911. It is now mounted near the end of the radiation boom on the square tube and pointing south. It is also plugged into the main power system. Daphne cleaned the tipping bucket. We left at 10:20 |
