Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, conductivity sensor wire loose--fixed, removed eosGP probe
2019-07-10 East End Camilo, Dennis, and I arrived at 12:10. It was a sunny and breezy day with clear skies (some cirrus clouds). The water level was 48 cm. Camilo and Dennis cleaned flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was ½ full; we refilled it. I collected met, cam, and USB GHG data. The conductivity sensor was reading mostly NANs. I pulled the sensor and it looked clean. I then checked the wiring, and the Lo Cond wire was disconnected from the A547 interface. I reconnected it (green wire) and the numbers seemed ok. The eosGP probe had been reading the max value (~5000 mV, or 2%) for the past few weeks, which could be ecologically possible in the densely vegetated waters of East End. I pulled the probe out of the water and rinsed it out with DI water, but I didn’t see a change in its reading, so I brought the probe sn GP20150101 back to the lab for further testing. LI-7500 readings: CO2 421ppm H2O 800ppm T 25.1C P 101.7kPa SS 94--> 97 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.8ppm RSSI 43--> 77 after cleaning We left at 12:35. |
