Summary: Standard fieldwork, a few green shards in a sea of brown

Siyan and I arrived at about 10:30. It was sunny and hot with a breeze from the southeast swinging to the southwest later. The grass is mostly brown and crispy but there are a few green plants left, mountain dandelion, a pea plants and a tall grass that probably germinated late.

Standard field work â€“ all looks well. We went to the pond â€“ plenty of water in the stream from the pond. The pond level was 17.60ft
