Author: Joe Verfaillie
Others: Daphne, Loreli and Mikaela from Arable
Summary: Swapped 7500, installed sonic range finder, changed 7700 IP address, Loreli and Mikaela install second Arable device. Alfalfa still not cut
Bouldin Alfalfa 2019-04-25 I arrived at 10:55 with Daphne and Loreli and Mikaela from Arable. It was warm and sunny with hazy horizons. The field and surrounding fields still have not been mowed. The alfalfa has not flowered. Loreli and Mikaela were there to see the field sites that I send them data for and to install a second Arable device sn A001311. They want to make sure they have uninterrupted data from both the corn and alfalfa sites. We are free now to move our Arable devices to other locations if we want. I’ll talk to Loreli about getting data from their devices. Daphne changed the LI-7700 IP address from 192.168.1.77 to 192.168.2.77 The 7700 read: 1.9ppm CH4, 53RSSI – 73 after cleaning We swapped the 7500 sn 0035 came off and sn 75H-2180 went up. The new config file was uploaded, pressure coefficients updated and the box was reset. 0035 dirty: 407ppm CO2, 750mmol/m3 H2O, 26C, 101.3kPa, 96SS 0035 clean: 418ppm CO2, 701mmol/m3 H2O, 26.5C, 101.3kPa, 98SS 2180 clean: 416ppm CO2, 617mmol/m3 H2O, 26.8C, 101.3kPa, 100SS I added a new ultrasonic range finder sn URM06-001 to the radiation boom. Daphne downloaded the met data an uploaded a new CR1000 program for it. The range finder is about 262cm above the ground level. This is a temporary installation with a c-clamp holding it in place. After the corn is planted we will probably move it over there. We left at 11:45 |
