I arrived at about 10:30 with Siyan. It was cool with patchy clouds. The ground is soggy with puddles in the road. The grass is still short due the cold but the trees have started to put on leaves. The Delta was foggy and Cosumnes has flooded the surrounding fields.

I checked on the LattePanda computer at the tower. It was running but had not renamed most of the FLIR photos. Most of the photos were still in the â€˜Ramâ€™ folder with default names. I need to try to improve the script to avoid this problem. I tried to get the Loggernet set up better. I connected the Floor Met 23x to the Quatech serial box. If port 1 was Com 4, youâ€™d think port 2 would be Com 5, but youâ€™d be wrong. Seems port 2 is Com 6. I think both OSU SP2 and SP3 and the tower met and Floor met should all be automatically downloading their data to the LattePanda now.

I collected the eddy data, the Phenocam inages, the OSU SP1 data and the cal panel IRT data. The battery on the cal panel was down to 11.7V so I swapped with one I brought from the lab, but that one wasnâ€™t much better. Probably need to swap it again next time.

The fine wire TC came off the outside on the FLIR window. I put it back. I think one of the three FLIR TCs was reading NaN in the data.

The HMP fan at the tower top had a broken wire. I removed it but did not have a replacement with me.

Siyan collected data from the other data loggers and serviced the cameras.

I put new metal tags on trees 1-8 that have dendrometer bands. 102 and 245 already have tags and I did not go out the cluster zero trees to check and tag them.

We saw Rob on the way out. He says heâ€™s been trying to trap pigs but not had any luck.
