Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, water samples for Isabel.
| 2019-03-14 Mayberry We arrived at 10:55. It was sunny, with clear skies and cold breeze. The water level was 58 cm. The wetland is still completely brown. Alex changed desiccant for water level sensor. Water reservoir was ½ full and was refilled. It seemed like the thermocouple of the Li-7700 was malfunctioning but Alex fixed it by removing insect cocoon near the thermocouple. Resulting temperature was 13 deg C. Alex collected water samples for Isabel at 10:00 PST. Alex cleaned flux and rad sensors. Daphne downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. Camilo reinforced boardwalk. A screw got stuck in the boardwalk and we need to cut it next time we go to the field. LI-7500 readings: CO2 420ppm H2O 300ppm T 12.9C P 102.4kPa SS 100--> 101 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0ppm RSSI 53--> 84 after cleaning We left at 11:35. |
