We arrived at 12:15. It was sunny and warm, with mostly clear skies but thick haze over Mt. Diablo. The alfalfa is flowering and super tall.

Dennis did clip plots and took veg height measurements. Alex took 2-wand LAI measurements (â€œ201807SCâ€ is the scattering file, â€œ201807Aâ€ are the below measurements, ignore â€œ201807â€) and spectral measurements. Kuno topped off the wash reservoir. Kuno cleaned the flux, rad, and Arable sensors. The Arable solar panel had a lot of bird poop. He also reinstalled the PRI sensor (sn 930103961) now that the spiderâ€™s nest has been cleaned off. The numbers looked reasonable.

I downloaded met, camera, USB, and FD chamber data. I cleared the FD data, power-cycled it, but could not connect again and did not hear any buzzing. I brought the chamber (sn FD20160001) back into the lab for testing; it turns on fine if I wait 1-2 minutes after turning it off to turn it on again instead of trying to turn it back on immediately. The chamber starts buzzing about 10 seconds after turning it back on.

The 7500 read: 395ppm CO2, 780mmol/m3 H2O, 30.2C, 101.3kPa, 96SS --> 97 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 2.02ppm CH4, 47RSSI â€“> 71 after cleaning.

We left at 13:30.
