We arrived at 12:05. It was sunny and breezy with some clouds. They have mowed our side of the field and are now mowing the west side of the field. The alfalfa are flowering.

Dennis took clip plot samples in the unmowed section of the field near the gravel road (west of the tower).

Sam cleaned radiation and EC sensors and the solar panels and took soil respiration measurements.

I downloaded met, soil CO2, and USB GHG data and swapped the camera card. The camera LED light was red. I pressed the eject button and the LED light turned green, so I took out the card. After I put in the new card, there was no LED light, so it should be okay.

CO2 399.0 umol/mol
H2O 599.1 mmol/m3
T 22.6 Celsius
P 100.9 kPa
SS 89.9 -> 92.1 after cleaning

I also collected the forced diffusion data, cleared the data from the sensor, and cycled the power. I tried to check the FD time and sampling frequency but the software was "unable to access these parameters." The time and frequency look fine in the downloaded data.

Joe (and all) cleared the alfalfa under the radiation sensors and around the tower.

We left at 13:05.
