Summary: Regular data collection and cleaning, visitor from USGS

2017-05-25
Sherman Wetland

We arrived at 9:20. It was sunny and mostly clear. The water level is lower, The island of vegetation west of the tower is above the water level.

We met with a visitor from the USGS at the gate off of the paved road, Kristen Manies, who is interested in collecting methane concentrations and fluxes by drone.

I collected the met and USB GHG data and swapped the camera card. The water level sensor still has intermittent NANs. We changed the channel last time, so we should swap out the sensor next time.

Sam cleaned the radiation and EC sensors and refilled the wash reservoir.

Joe cleaned out the precipitation bucket.

LI7500 readings:
CO2 396.6 umol/mol
H2O 626.0 mmol/m3
T 17.5 Celsius
P 100.8 kPa
SS 99.4 -> 103.4 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 1.94
RSSI: 46.8 -> 68.1 after cleaning

We left at 9:35.
