Summary: Updated datalogger program to v20170214, tightened datalogger screws, regular cleaning/collection, sonic was down for 10 days
We arrived around 10:15. It was sunny, mild, with some thin clouds. Lots of ducks/geese flying and quacking/honking overhead in flocks and v-formation. Cows were vocal as well. Sam cleaned the radiation, 7500, and 7700 sensors. He refilled the 7700 wash reservoir; it was 3/4 empty. I downloaded the met, USB GHG, and camera data. I collected all data, which included the Jan 26-29 data. I'm not sure why the previous data collected started on Jan 29. I then updated the CR1000 program to v20170214. All the data seemed okay. The air temperature and relative humidity numbers seemed reasonable. The Rnet was around -400 W. I didn't expect the net radiation radiation to be negative during the data. Finally, I tightened the screws in the CR1000 and AM16/32, so hopefully we won't see spikes anymore. Some of them could be cranked down a full rotation or more, and the blue-rubber-handled screwdriver (not the plastic one from Campbell) was helpful for tightening the screws. The 7500 read: CO2 431.5 ppm H2O 474.6 mmol/m3 T 15.28 C P 102.08 kPa SS 101.7 --> 102.8 after cleaning The 7700 read: CH4 2.25 ppm RSSI 33.5 --> 74.4 after cleaning We left at 10:50. Looking at the data back in the lab, the sonic was down 2017-01-31 10:00 to 2017-02-10 9:00. Not sure why. It may have been a power issue. |
