Summary: Collected met data directly from CR1000, brought Intel stick computer back to lab

We arrived around 12:30. It was sunny, mostly clear, and calm.

I failed to connect to the Intel computer via Tight VNC. I restarted the Intel computer using the power button. I still failed to connect. I restarted the field laptop and the Intel computer a second time. I still couldn't connect. I called Joe and he asked me to bring the Intel computer back to the lab. It should have the photo data on it.

I connected to the CR1000 via the serial cable and downloaded the met data. I also downloaded the USB GHG data.

Sam cleaned the 7500, 7700, and radiation sensors. He refilled the 7700 wash reservoir; it was empty.

We checked the conductivity sensor and confirmed that it was under the water level. The conductivity increased suddenly around Jan 27 (we were not in the field that day), but we did not see anything obviously amiss in the field.

The 7500 read:
CO2 439.4 ppm
H2O 612.6 mmol/m3 (this seems high?)
T 18.06 C
P 101.9 kPa
SS 96.2 --> 100.8 after cleaning

The 7700 read:
CH4 2.22 ppm
RSSI 26.3 --> 87.8 after cleaning

This is the site where the 7500 box was had a lot of water about a month ago. I noticed that the upper clasp is much looser than the lower clasp, so maybe the water had been leaking in through the top seal. We should replace the seal or add bulk to the top part of the seal so that it's a tighter fit. It looks difficult to move the clasps.

We left around 12:55.
