Summary: Sheep in the field, lots of bird poop, restarted the forced diffusion chamber.
| Twitchell Alfalfa 2016-11-16 I arrived about 11:30 with Sam. There are sheep in the western edge of the field. I was planning on running new wires from the met CR1000 to the radiometers and removing the CR10x but felt we were running out of time for the work at Bouldin. There was lots of bird dirt on the solar panels and the radiometers. Sam cleaned these up. I checked on the Forced Diffusion chamber. It did not seem to be running. I was having problems with the software. It was not detecting the serial port. However, disconnecting and reconnecting the cable on the chamber’s top seem to get it running – I could hear the pump run. I did not collect data because of the software problems. |
