Twitchell Rice
2016-08-31

I arrived at 11:00 with Elke. It was clear, sunny and breezy. The field is really full of weeds, it’s hard to see the rice. The field has also been drained. It was dry enough to walk in without boots. I’ll call Bruce to see when it might get harvested.

The 7700 read:1.93ppm CH4, 39.8RSSI – 72 after cleaning, wash reservoir was full
We swapped the 7500
sn 0065 off: 391.0ppm CO2, 582.0mmol/m3 H2O, 24.8C, 101.63kPa, 81.7SS
sn 75H-2180 on: 395.19ppm CO2, 606.5mmol/m3 H2O, 24.71C, 101.64kPa, 97.46SS

We checked the wiring for the soil TC and the soil moisture that are giving bad readings but didn’t see anything wrong. Let it ride until the tower is removed. We did not swap the well pressure sensor since the field is dry.

Elke measured veg height but we did not take clip plots.

The met data logger clock was 16 minutes slow. It was reset from 10:15 to 10:31

The camera only had a few image again and still having some kind of power issue.
