Summary: Standard data collection, added/fixed spikes on sonic, no ants in boxes
| West Pond 2016-08-31 I arrived at 12:35 with Elke. It was clear, sunny and warm with a breeze. The water level looked higher than normal and the inlet was running. The tips of the cattails and tules are beginning to turn brown and yellow. No living ants in any of the boxes. We put the cover back on the 7550 electronics and put a new moth ball in each box. Lots of spider webs on the eddy sensors. The 7700 read: 1.92ppm CH4, 47.3RSSI – 81.6 after cleaning, the wash reservoir is full. The 7500 read: 387.9ppm CO2, 684.6mmol/m3 H2O, 26.44C, 100.88kPa, 86.47SS – 90.2 after cleaning. I replaced a set of missing bird spikes on the sonic and replace the ties on one of the existing sets. |
