Summary: Alfalfa recently cut, swapped LI7500 for calibration, regular data collection, spectral, installed new FD chamber

Arrived at 14:50. Sunny, warm, clear sky, windy with gusts. Alfalfa was very recently cut; Two rows next to the tower had been raked in preparation for baling. We cut the alfalfa around the ground equipment.

Joe installed the new Forced Diffusion chamber. It is getting 12VDC power from the soil CO2 CR1000 power plug. Joe could not find the software to check the chamber's function.

Collected USB GHG data, collected both camera data, collected met data from CR1000, collected soil CO2 data, collected radiation CR10x data. For soil CO2 thermocouple 14=NAN. Cleaned solar panels.

Took spectral measurements, taking a light and dark reference after every two samples. After sample six, the instrument froze and took no more samples.
Did soil respiration measurements.

Took canopy height measurements in cm: 17, 12, 15, 18, 15, 16, 16, 19, 23, 12, 18, 19, 14, 13, 14, 24, 22, 13, 14, 19.

Did not take clip plots because the alfalfa had just been cut.

LI7500 swapped for calibration. sn 75h-2180 down, sn 75H-2514 put up.
