Summary: Calibrated LI7700, ants in LI7550 box, standard data collection

Arrived at 13:30. Sunny, clear, breezy with gusts. Lots of dead biomass in the wetland, but some green tules coming through.

Collected USB GHG data, camera pictures, and Met data. All data looked good.

When trying to updated the LI7550 sn AIU-0666 box firmware we had some trouble connecting to the box at first. This box has a static IP address which seemed to interfere with the updating software (it worked fine connecting to the box using the regular data interface software). Joe reset the laptop IP address to be the same subnet as the box IP address. That seemed to work and the update went through. Updated from v7.3.0 to v8.0.0

There were ants in the LI7550 AUI box, quite a few of them. They had a pile of eggs and it looked like they were planning on making this their home. They were coming in through the pressure vent valve. Joe removed the cover from the circuit boards to prevent the ants from making that their home (they were already crawling around the circuit boards). Joe cleared out the ants and removed the pressure valve. He taped the hole shut with electrical tape and left some ant bait in the box to prevent further infestation. We left the circuit boards without the cover.

Refilled LI7700 wash water reservoir.

Calibrated LI7700 sn TG1-0223. Calibration was done using zero air and the Ameriflux AMPCO2CH4-calibration gas at 1.9966ppm

We left again at 14:45. When we left we saw that the inlets were not running, but the water level looked normal.
