Summary: Standard data collection. Willow needs to be cut back significantly, it is shading the radiometers in the morning.
| Arrived at 12:25. Sunny, clear, windy day. It looks like the radiometers might be shaded by the willow in the early morning now. Tried to cut down some of the branches from the willow, but ideally the whole tree should be cut down. Filled LI7700 wash water reservoir, was still pretty full. Cleaned the sensors. Collected USB GHG data, collected met data from CR1000, collected camera card pictures. All looks good There are no more ants in the LI7550 box, but there were some ants in the CR1000 datalogger box again (not too many though). The ant bait was very full, should probably be replaced soon. Changed timestamp on the camera to PST, 1h back from what it was and switched off ‘Daylight saving’. LI7500 readings: CO2 404.98 H2O 441.0 SS 100.402 -> 101.5 after cleaning T 24.99 P 100.76 LI7700 readings: CH4: 1.95 RSSI: 48.94 -> 85.1 after cleaning Left at 12:45 |
