Summary: Phenocam is not working for some reason.
| Vaira 2016-03-08 I arrived about 8:30. It was mostly clear and cool with a variable breeze. Clouds started to come in later. The ground is very wet with water running in the ruts and puddles in the low spots. The grass was wet and still growing slowly. The trees have begun to put on leaves but do not look green overall yet. We only got a few images from the Phenocam last time. The RPi was running but not connected to the camera. I restarted the Pi and the camera. There is a green status light lit on the camera. The RPi seems okay. I swapped the Ethernet cable with the one from the old camera with no improvement. The laptop kept dropping the Ethernet connection saying the cable was disconnected. I traced the cable from the eddy tower to the radiation tower. I did not find any damage. The ground is a warren of mouse holes and runs. I left it all in place but it is not working. I will have to bring new cable and camera next time. |
