Summary: Downloaded data. More veg popping up. Water levels good. Longwave incoming radiometer fouled by bird doodie.
| East End Wetland 2014-08-07 We arrived about 15:00 PDT. It was hot and sunny with a nice breeze. The site was similar to last week but with more vegetation popping up in the water. Water levels were also same as last week. Sara took water samples. I downloaded data. Sara cleaned the instruments, noting that we should check the downwelling longwave radiation – it was fouled by bird doodie. 7500 readings: CO2 = 15.3 mmol m-3 (15.5 after cleaning) H2O = 710 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) p = 101.1 kPa t = 32.5 C Diag: 248 (same after cleaning) Sos: 349.2 m s-1 7700 readings: CH4: 1.87 ppm RSSI: 39% (71% after cleaning) MET looked good. |
