Summary: Tons of bird near the tower. Data download.
| East End Wetland 2014-03-13 We arrived about 13:20 PDT. It was sunny, warm and breezy. The site is well flooded, and there were hundreds (thousands?) of birds in the SW portion of the wetland, including in the flux footprint. I downloaded the data while Patty cleaned the 7500 and 7700 and measured the height of the sensors. 7700 Height: 531 cm 7500 Height: 534 cm 7500 readings: CO2 = 16.0 mmol m-3 (16.18 after cleaning) H2O = 340 mmol m-3 (302 after cleaning) Diag: 248 (same after cleaning) 7700 readings: CH4: 1.93 ppm (1.89 after cleaning) RSSI: 45% (85% after cleaning) Reservoir was pretty much full, just topped off. MET looked good. We need another board for the scaffold since it’s hard to reach the camera with only one board on the top level - it would be safer to have two. |
