Summary: HMP45 hanging loose from shield, reinstalled. Water level high. Replaced 7700 washer fluid tubing.
| Mayberry 2013-08-28 We arrived about 14:40 PDT. It was breezy, sunny, and warm. Sara went out and grabbed water samples and cleaned the tule tower instruments while I downloaded data and attended to the tower. The HMP45 was hanging loose from the radiation shield; I reinstalled it. Sara reported that the water level was a bit high, so she cleaned the water instruments in the tules but not in the deeper channel. 7500 readings: CO2: 390 ppm (same after cleaning) H2O: 810 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) signal strength = 95.8% (96.4% after cleaning) t: 30.1 C p = 101.1 kPa sos = 350 m s-1 Current 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.9 ppm (same after cleaning) RSSI = 53 (86 after cleaning) The reservoir was full. We replaced the 7700 washer fluid tubing and covered it with split line tubing to protect it from the sun. MET looked good. |
