Summary: Regular field work. Data download. Swapped out LED sensor. Installed new bracket for flux instrument pole.

We arrived at 12:00 PDT. It was sunny, warm (25 C), and windy. The alfalfa is growing strong and partially flowery. Laurie measured the average vegetation height to be ~60 cm. Yanel took spectral measurements while Laurie did clip plots. I downloaded data and did other maintenance.

The radiation 10x was not working when I arrived. I cycled the power and it restarted. I swapped out the LED sensor (removed sn LED-04, installed sn LED-06). Readings looked good before and after the swap.

We replaced the wooden bracket attaching the flux instrument pole to the scaffold with a metal one. It took a bit of MacGyvering to get the new bracket to work (which admittedly was more difficult without MacGyver here), but we managed. The flux instrument pole is now much more sturdy and level.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 390 ppm (same after cleaning)
H2O = 610 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
SS = 92.7% (93.4% after cleaning)
T = 26.8 C
p = 101.6 kPa
sos = 349.8 m s-1

MET looked good. I checked which PAR sensor was mounted facing down (sn 0339621).
