I arrived about 10:30. It was warm and sunny with a few high thin clouds to mute the sunlight a bit in the morning. There was no breeze in the morning but one sprung up in the afternoon. The trees look fully leafed out. The ground is mostly dry with only the low places in the road still damp looking. The grass looks healthy but going to seed. There were some cows around.

The tram seemed to have been running well since my last visit. I turned the cow fence on at the tram site after visiting it.

I disconnected the solar panels from the cow fence chargers around the Floor and soil CO2 sites to test the batteries. In the afternoon when I was getting ready to leave, the Floor battery was still good at more than 12V, but the soil CO2 battery was bad at about 5V. I swapped this battery with a brand new one and hooked up both solar panels again.

I swapped the 7500s on the Tower and the Floor. On the Floor sn 0042 came off and sn 1594 went on. On the tower sn 0035 came off and sn 0418 went on.

I added three HMP45s to the tower at the heights of the CO2 profile inlets 0.35m, 1.8m and 6.0m. 12VDC power came from the computer box at the bottom and powered the sensors and the ventilation fans. The data lines went to the 23X at the top of the tower and were connected to the multiplexor. The wiring for the existing HMP45 at the top of the tower was moved from the 23X to the multiplexor. Four differential air temperatures are read first and then four RH values. I need to check the wire colors for the new sensors again and work up a wiring diagram. I downloaded all the data from the 23x before uploading a new program to include the new sensors and wiring. The sensors are:

I cleaned the z-cam windows. These were pretty dirty. I also cleaned the phenocam window. It had bug tracks on the inside of the window. I might have moved the camera a little in the cleaning.
