Summary: Downloaded data. Pulled upper DO sensor for install at Twitchell. Swapped out 7550 and 7500. Some ice in 7700 reservoir. All well.

We arrived around 09:00 PST. It was cold (~4 °C) with a clearing fog. The water below the tower was normal if not slightly higher than usual. The site is very senescent, the tules brown and fallen over each other. We downloaded the data and autocam, and cleaned the flux and radiation instruments. Joe pulled the upper DO sensor (s/n DO4) for install at Twitchell. Bubbles released from the pond bottom smelled strongly of sulfur.

We swapped out the 7550 for one recently returned from LI-COR with new firmware (removed s/n 397, installed s/n 666). We also swapped out the 7500 head for a newly calibrated one (removed s/n 2182, installed s/n 0065).

7500 before swap (s/n 2182):
CO2 = 620 ppm (after cleaning)
H2O = 225 mmol m-3 (after cleaning)
agc = 75 (cleaned to 43.8)

7500 after swap (s/n 0065):
CO2 = 465 ppm
H2O = 335 mmol m-3
agc = 13.1 (new format)
sos = 335 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4 = 4.7 ppm
RSSI =10-15 variable (spider webs in path, bumped to 75 after cleaning)
Topped off reservoir (was 2/3 full, some ice). Need to mix with low temp washer fluid next time.

MET looked good.
