Summary: Removed ATI sonic. Swapped 7550 box. Lost 7550 temperature sensor in the process (sorry). Molar concentration data should be fine.

I arrived about 12:30 PST after dropping Sara off at the corn since it was beginning to rain. The water level beneath the tower was moderately high, the upper DO probe fully submerged. I downloaded the data and camera pics and cleaned the instruments.

Current 7500 readings (prior to swapping the 7550 box – see below):
CO2 = 387 ppm
H2O = 414 mmol m-3
agc = 50 (43.8 after cleaning, although it rained right afterward)

7700 readings:
CH4 = 1.9 ppm
RSSI = 16 (bumped to 71 after cleaning)

MET looked good.

I took down the ATI sonic setup. I also swapped out the 7550 box (replacing it with the one labeled ‘portable tower’). Before doing so, I downloaded all configuration settings for 7500 s/n 2182 and uploaded them to the new 7550. Since I was jealous that Sara got to drop equipment in the water earlier, I decided to do my part. After unscrewing the temperature sensor when removing the 7550, I threw it in the water. Just kidding, I accidentally dropped it. I rooted around for a while in the thick layer of muck and veg below the water, but couldn’t retrieve it. Sorry :( Thus, the 7550 here is without a temperature sensor and will show bad mixing ratio values for the 7500 data. However, Sara had returned by this point and checked the molar concentration readings for the 7500, showing 16 mmol m-3 for CO2, so the flux data shouldn’t be affected.
