Summary: Returned to connect 7700 in 7550 program. Installed new temperature sensor for 7550. Corrected clocks for 7550 and CR1000.

I arrived about 12:15 PST. It was sunny and cool, about 16 °C, calm winds. The inlet was at a steady flow and the water level under the tower well above the veg mat. In my haste to wrap up quickly in the rain on Thursday, I did not ensure that the 7700 was ‘connected’ in the 7200 program to log the 7700 data after I switched the 7550 boxes and reloaded the config file. Thus, I returned today and did so. We’ve missed a couple days of 7700 data but all is now recording and well. I also installed a new temperature sensor for the 7550 box which I lost in the water the other day (the rain seemed to have fried my brain circuitry…). I noticed that the clock in the 7550 was off by about 40 minutes (reading 11:50, actually 12:30). The datalogger clock was much closer (reading 12:37, actually 12:36). Therefore, the MET and flux data have recently been offset by about a half-hour. I corrected both clocks. We should check the other 7550 clocks next time we’re in the field.

H2O = 315 mmol m-3
agc = 43.8

7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.0 ppm
RSSI = 60
