2011-08-09 I arrived about 8:30PST. It was clear, sunny and warm with a nice breeze. Three weeks ago there were still some hints of green here and there. Now, the grass is completely dead. There is still some water in the water hold just south of the road. Grasshoppers are still abundant, but maybe less so than last time. I collected the data from the computer. All seemed well. I collected the Moisture point data with the netbook. I cleaned the radiometers and checked the tipping bucket. The solar system was reporting 13.2V, 9.2A solar, 2.2A load. |
