Summary: Need new tank for water potetial, PC at Vaira crashed - restarted, maybe need fan for box, swapped LI7500 at TZ Tower and Vaira.

Summary
1. Tank for water potential measurement needs to be changed since midday leaf water potential of oak leaf < -25 bar; pin needle=-20 bar.
2. PC at Vaira showed “Reboot failure” when I got there. This caused 3 day data missing. PC worked well after I reboot it again. Should we replace a PC next visiting‌ The site was very hot. The fan in PC was on all the time, but I didn’t hear any sound from the fan on the enclosure.
3. checked and downloaded data at Tower, Floor, and Vaira
4. Swapped Li-7500 at TZ Tower and Vaira.
5. Calibrated Li-800 in the field.
6. Collected samples of aboveground dry biomass (400cm2 × 4), oak leaves and pin needles
7. Read dendrometers

Vaira_Grass Site
  1. Fence and gate power: 12 v.
  2. Panel and Batteries: 13.0 v; 9.3 amps; 3.8 amps.
  3. Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data. (The value of H2O and CO2 should be in the range of 0 – 5 v.)

N2 2000 psig; flow 20 psi.
