Summary: Standard fieldwork, cut the grass, washed the solar panels.

I arrived about 12:30 with Jose. It was clear, sunny and hot with almost no wind. There was just a breath of a breeze from the west as evidenced by the spider weds streaming off the equipment. Lots of some kind of water grass has come up sparsely in many locations. Also, there are lots of algae and something that looks like duckweed in the water. I also saw lots of gambusia mosquito fish in the water.

I collected the data. I downloaded all from the 23x and the Tule 10x. The autocam was off. I swapped the card. The new card is setup up to auto load the CHDK firmware, but you still have the start the script manually.

The LI7700 was reservoir was empty again. Shortly after I filled it the LI7700 did and auto wash cycle. After this the RSSI read close to zero. I cleaned the mirrors with alcohol and got the RSSI up to about 88.

I cut the grass around the tower and the solar panels. I should move the set on the ground up on to the base with the others.

I washed the bird poop of the panels with the spray washer.

The tules are a little taller than the radiation sensors on the tule tower and have grown up all around the tower. We need to think about making the tower taller and possibly moving it back out of the tules.

Jose took photos of the patch of tules near the tower and the smaller path to the east of the main tower.
