6/24/2010 Arrived about 10am with Siyan. It was clear, sunny and warm with very little wind. The grass is dead, about chest high and thick. I pulled the moisture point probe between the solar panels and the tower. It has a broken pin. I took a photo of the sonic heading, which is zero degrees magnetic. I checked the functioning of the tipping bucket. I confirmed that tips are detected but the summed value is wrong. I wrote a test program with only the tipping bucket that seemed to work. I downloaded the program from the CR23X and it seemed fine. I moved the tipping bucket instruction to the end of the measurement cycle with no improvement. There is some strange behavior in editing the program and communications with the CR23X. There might be a conflict in the OS version on the data logger, and version of Loggernet and the version of Loggernet used to produce the program. Next step is to update the data logger OS and the Loggernet on the computer. Logger OS sig: 36790, OS version: 10916 Revision 0019 - this looks current Loggernet version: 3.2.2 - could be updated to 3.4.1 Returned to Tonzi about 11:30 |
