Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, lots of wasps and mosquitoes

Robert and I arrived at 14:35 PDT. It was sunny and warm with a little breeze. There were plenty of wasps AND mozzies here—lucky us. There was a plum-sized wasp nest below the upper boardwalk. Right before we left the site, we sprayed the nest with water to distract the wasps and knocked the nest off of the boardwalk.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Robert topped off the wash reservoir. I cleaned flux and rad sensors. Robert wasn’t keen on climbing up among all the wasps after his recent sting. I replaced the two missing spikes for the sonic; I couldn’t find any baby zip ties so I used medium ones. The staff gauge read 75cm. I meant to check the 7700 heater settings to change them from summer to winter hours but forgot.

The 7500 read: 410ppm CO2, 715mmol/m3 H2O, 30.3C, 100.9kPa, 100SS – 103 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 35RSSI – 83 after cleaning

We left at 15:00 PDT.
