Daphne and I arrived at about 14:30. It was clear sunny and mild. There was some significant rain about a week ago but nothing since. The soil is damp but the surface is drying out again. No puddles on the road or water in the water hole. Grass has germinated with greener patches under some trees.

Daphne measured the well level, cleaned the radiometers and swapped the Mark 3 Arable. The prototype unit sn B30086 came off and sn B301042 went up. It was a little hard to tell from the status lights if everything was okay or not.

I collected met, flux, camera and FD data. All seemed okay.
The 7500 read: 438.5ppm CO2, 249.6mmol/m3 H2O, 23.0C, 100.3kPa, 112.9SS

The two boardwalks I removed from in front of the met box I stacked on the other boardwalks so as to not impede grass growth. The wiring conduits still need work but that is going to have to be a special trip.

We went to the pond scaring off a bunch of ducks when we arrived. The water level is about as low as I have ever seen it – the top of the stake holding the pressure sensor is out of the water. I skipped stones while Daphne washed the staff gauges – all but the lowest one are high and dry.

We left at about 16:00.
