Summary: 7700 dead due to leaked water rotting the fuse, standard data collection
Mayberry 2022-05-27 Carlos and I arrived at 18:10 PDT – very late mostly due to two separate crashes that shutdown the roads leaving Bouldin. Here, the Tules seem to be doing well but the cattails not so much. The weeds have also jumped up since I was last here. I forgot to write down the water level, but it looked about normal. The first thing we noticed was that the 7700 was not responding. No status lights on. We disconnected the power cable from the bottom of the 7700 and checked that it had power. These symptoms were suspiciously similar to the one we recently pulled off WP that had water inside it that rotted out the fuse holder. Here I pulled off the fuse cap and sure enough, the fuse fell out completely rotted through. We pulled the bottom off and a little water came out. Definitely damp inside. We brought the 7700 sn TG1-0223 in for repair. I collected met and Flux data. I did not change the 7550 setting for the lack of the 7700. Carlos cleaned the sensors. I collected the Pi-cam images. The 7500 read: 411.8ppm CO2, 632.8mmol/m3, 21.3C, 100.7kPa, 99.2SS We did not fix the bolt for the water radiation boom. We washed the solar panels that were covered in pollen. We left at about 18:50 PDT |
