16:01 sunny clear conditions solar amp = 1.7 batt volt = 11.9 load = lvd 16:11 open solar panel connection boxes and almost all contacts are loose. Discover burned wire on second solar panel. This is the problem with the depleted battery capacity. Repair and all seems well. Batt volt = 13.3 Solar amp = 26.4 Load amp = 3.1 Batter status LED = green: full charge 16:37 asperator fan barely running. Disconnect fan and measure voltage = 12.2. Connect fan and voltage falls to 5.0 volts. Discover bad connection on splice and repair. I suspect this bad connection was drawing power and caused the data logger battery to fail. Floor Sunday 10:22 Reestablish communications with all loggers. Problem was a bad connection in the connector to the base MD9. Traveled to Radishack, obtained a suitable adapter and repaired unit 10:30 Floor system Batt volts = 12.6 Solar Amp = 6.5 Load amp = 3.5 This does not compare well with Vaira. 15:27 Batt Volt = 13.0 Solar Amp = 8.3 Load amp = 2.4 Batt status LED Green Monday Vaira 10:35 NDVI cable on boom arm pulling instrument out of alignment. Correct the situation and level the unit. 10:54 NDVI sensor leveled. |
