Gateway laptop with gillsonic running and the monitor off load amp = 2.2
New VDAC with winflux and monitor off load amp = 2.4

Soil CO2 profile system cr23x5 has no digital readout, remove/replace power plug and it comes to life.

CO2E 1-4 are in LVD mode, red battery status LED.

Reestablish communications with all loggers. Change parameters in PC208 to get files in proper time sequence.

Saturday – 26Feb05
Floor – arrive
Only cr10x2.dat file was uploaded and the file name changed.
Lost communications with all loggers. Begin diagnostics.

11:55 tower
cr10x7 working and not connected to tower PC

CO2 profile stream thermocouple at 28 degrees.
CO2 profile pump not running. Replace with new pump. Old pump fine appears to be intermittent connection in pump power lead/fuse holder assembly.

Pressure controller not functioning. Fuse blown. 0.5 – 0.75

Begin diagnostics on logger communications: At floor PC remove coax cable to cr23x2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and connect cable to loggers 4 & 5 and communication is established. Remove coax to 4 & 5 and connect coax to 2, 3, 6, 7, & 8 and and no communications are established.

Remove loggers 6, 7, 8 from coax line so only connection to 2 & 3 available and no connection is established.

Connect only loggers 6, 7, & 8 to coax line and still no connection is established.

Test continuity of coax cable and it has no continuity. Replace connector at base MD9
and all communications are reestablished.

Load amp = 3.5 Note that this is significantly different from Vaira

all appears well and logger files from 0030 to 2400 hr.

13:40 install Web cam and have problems with LAN connection.

16:50 place my black hat over the Delta diffuse radiation sensor and the voltages fall from 460 to near 0.0 on both channels.

Sunday 09:49 and communications are reestablished to all loggers.

System in LVD. Reset regulator and system begins to boot and system voltage falls to 9.0.

The solar amps should be 3.5 – 4.0 under overcast diffuse conditions. Something is not working here and this is the clue to a solution.
