Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, very foggy
| 2019-12-05 Sherman Barn Alex, Débora (our visitor from Brazil), and I arrived at 9:15 PST. It was a super foggy but surprisingly mild day with almost no breeze. Lots of rain in the past week and more to come this weekend. When we arrived, we couldn’t see the Antioch Bridge from the tower, but it cleared up enough to see the bridge by the time we left. There were several big animal-holding semi-trailers stopped on the paved road between the red barn and the plywood-fenced property. The grass around the tower is very short and mostly brown. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and the game camera data. Surprisingly, the game cam clock was still on time. This site needs an HMP sensor. The wash reservoir was mostly full; Alex topped it off and cleaned flux and rad sensors. LI-7500 readings: CO2 550ppm H2O 410ppm T 12.1C P 100.9kPa SS 95--> 101 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.6ppm RSSI 29-->75 after cleaning We left around 9:45. |
