Summary: First rains of the wet season, grasses have just sprouted

Ana and I arrived at 12:30. It was cool with a low overcast and no wind. There have been several days of rain and some more to come. There are no puddles but the water hole did have some water in it. The trees still look pretty good with the remaining leaves still mostly green. The grass and herbs have sprouted under last yearâ€™s litter but look pale and scraggly.

I collected the data â€“ all looked well. Ana did the soil moisture and well measurements. I think she also collected some soil for emissivity.

The 7500 read: 431.9ppm CO2, 541.4mmol/m3 H2O, 100.1kPa, 12.0C, 100.7SS

I cleaned the Phenocam window inside and out. The window is loose in its setting and may be held in place by the camera lens. I also cleaned the radiometers and Arables.

I took some spectrums with the Jaz.
