Summary: Regular data download/cleaning, water samples for Isabel, adjusted fluorometer brushes
2019-06-20 Mayberry Kuno, Robert, Camilo, and I arrived at 15:30. It was sunny and windy with clear skies. The wetland is mostly green, water is still a brown-green color, and the water sensors were all slimy. I wiped down the staff gauge, but forgot to write down the water level. Kuno collected water samples for Isabel at 14:30 PST. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data (from the solo “upper†sensor). The lower eosCO2 sensor data seemed to be maxing out, and Rnet_water seemed spiky, so I checked the wiring (unwired and rewired in same port). We swapped the desiccant in the miniDOT and in the water level sensor. Robert rinsed and wiped off the fluorometer lenses. The brushes did not seem to be touching the lenses, so I screwed them in a little tighter until I thought the brushes were in contact with the lenses. We confirmed the fluorometer was sending messages to the datalogger before lowering it in the water and jiggling the boom to get bubbles out. The wash reservoir was ½ full; we refilled it. Kuno also trimmed down the path to the tower and washed the solar panels. LI-7500 readings: CO2 408ppm H2O 686ppm T 25.9C P 100.7kPa SS ??--> 87 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.86ppm RSSI ??-->83 after cleaning We left at 16:50. |
