1/8/2010 Arrived about 9:30 with Siyan and Naama. Cool, overcast, light to no wind. No cows visible though some new cow patties inside the cow fence but no evidence as to how they got there or damage. Ground is wet, strong coverage of new grass, much of the standing litter has been knocked down. Systems okay. Computer initially would not show up with screen, maybe slightly low voltage. Many restarts and using USB flash drive instead of external USB HDD got the data off. I think we need to run the solar power at 24VDC and use DC-DC converters to step down to 12VDC where needed. I wrote down most of the serial numbers for the installed equipment. |
