10-28-2009 Arrived about 8:30 PDT. Clear, sunny, cool, breezy. The web camera was down and had not recorded images since Siyan’s last visit. Seems there was some trouble with the network connection. A power cycle of the camera seemed to fix the problem. Recently I had switched the camera to be continuously power rather than switched on and off by the data logger. With the new data logger program (see below) I returned control to the data logger so that the camera is turned on in the morning and turned off in the evening. Images were being collected when I left. I swapped out the AM16/32 connected to the soil temp TCs for an AM25T (sn 3838). I left the old reference temperature for the AM16/32 and continue to record its data fro comparison with the AM25T PRT temperature. New 23x program installed. This is a complete rewrite. Code for turning on and of the web cam has been simplified, and empty channels for “calibration” instruments have been removed. Three zero channels (for 23x, AM16/32, and AM25T) record in the 10mv range. Routines to read the AM25T instead of the AM16/32 have been implemented. Wiring locations for the NDVI sensor have been moved to avoid reading empty channels on the AM16/32. |
