Summary: Begin reconfiguring power distribution buss on tower system and replace fencer battery.
| Sunny, 80+F T&RH fan failure at Vaira site. Upon removing T&RH radiation shield from tripod it fell apart in my hands. T&RH unit left hanging over tripod boom arm with no radiation shield. No communication with cr23x6 (Surface renewal). Initial diagnostics indicate all cables have continuity. Possibility of corroded connector: union T, bulk head, etc….. Bring wide variety of connectors on next visit. Gain communication and upload all data from cr10x6. This data is in a file named with the other daily <*.dat> files. This file should be retrieved upon the next weekly data download (Thanks Liukang). Communication with cr10x6 lost. Short conversation with Fran Vaira about when our flux project was expected to conclude. Inspect, repair and tighten fence line. Clean solar panels for fencer charge system. |
