Weather Clear and warm

Trip Purpose General site visit

Soil heat flux plates 1 & 2 failed – critters chewed through signal leads.

Thermocouple wire on soil temp profile probes also showing chew markings.

SHF # 2 buried due west of MUX enclosure sn 141 59.0 uV/w/m2
SHF #1 buried 45 degree south of due west sn 137 60.0 uV/w/m2
SHF #3 buried 135 degree south of due west sn

Remove SHF # 1& 2 from ground and replace and install signal leads inside conduit on all 3 units. I did not log the calibration numbers for the 2 soil heat flux plates and will record them on my next visit.
