Summary: Trees are putting on leaves, computer died, setup CR1000 to collect images, pond full.

I arrive with Siyan and Ana about 9am. It was warm, clear and sunny with a light breeze. The trees have begun to put on leaves. There was sand and gravel debris on Irish Hill Road in a couple of places likely from runoff due to heavy rains. The water hole, pond and puddles on the road were full.

I checked on the computer that had not been sending data. There was no response from the keyboard or mouse. I tried unplugging and plugging in the USB connection but no luck. I did a hard restart and the BIOS loaded but it said it could not find a system disk. Hopefully I can boot it in recovery mode or from a USB disk in the lab and get the images off. We collected the data directly from the data loggers and the Licor, so no other data lost.

I made a new cross-over Ethernet cable to connect the camera with the met CR1000. I changed the ftp settings on the camera and used the CFM card I had brought to swap at Tonzi. After returning from the pond, two images were stored on the CR1000. The window of the camera enclosure came loose â€“ needs some silicon next time.

The pond was full at 22.24ft. The road to the pond was just passable with two wheel drive.

Siyan did clip plots, and spectral. Ana did the soil moisture.
