Summary: Trees starting to put on leaves, fixed CR200, removed old well logger, turned off old Tower co2 profile, LAI-2200 measurements, replaced IRT tripod.

I arrived at about 10:30 with Siyan and Ana. It was warm, clear and sunny with a light breeze. The trees have begun to put on leaves. There was sand and gravel debris on Irish Hill Road in a couple of places likely from run off due to heavy rains. The pond was full as were puddles on the road.

I checked on the CR200 at the Floor tower. It was toggling the wrong port to turn on the zcam. It was toggling C1 when it should have been the SW12V. I collected the data then fixed the program and change the time offset to test the camera. I saw it turn the camera on and off. I restored the correct time offset.

Siyan collected the well data then I removed the old Global Water logger sn 57278 to try and repair the cable in the lab.

Ana did LAI-2200 measurements with one wand on top of the tower. And she looked around for possible thermal camera locations.

The LI-820 was giving bad CO2 numbers on the old tower profile system. I collected the data and turned the system off. I think I will give up on that system.

There was a full set of phenocam images on the Tower met CR1000. But I couldnâ€™t get them off because I used the spare CFM card at Vaira and didnâ€™t have a card reader with me. The CFM card should be okay until next time.

We replaced the surveying tripod on the IRT sensors with a heavy duty aluminum tripod. The surveying tripod kept leaning over as one of the legs loosened up. We also replaced the battery that was killed when the tripod fell over and didnâ€™t get enough solar power.
