Summary: Decommissioning of Temporary Tower 3 – Boardwalk, ground sensors still need to be retrieved.
| East End 2017-10-04 Decommissioning of Temporary Tower 3 – Boardwalk. Daphne and Elke dropped Joe off at about noon to start disassembling the tower while they went to Twithcell Alfalfa. Then they returned at about 1pm to pack the equipment in the truck. Equipment Removed: Sonic sn 120907 7500 sn 0976 7700 sn TG1-0424 Water Pres sn 20010046 PAR sn 050596 Rnet sn 041556 HMP60 sn G4540021 AM16/32 sn 1238 CR1000 sn 50889 met NL115 sn 6761 CR1000 sn 23865 eddy Solar panel sn 11ZV0M0836 and sn 11ZV0M0855 Solar controller sn 3317052234210 We did not have waders with us so we could not get the soil heat flux plates or the soil thermocouples. I pulled one of the soil temperature profiles and got just the wires not the stick. One of the SHF plates wire was chewed. Hopefully we can find the plate. We left the tripod and the latter at the site. We should probably move these over to West Pond. |
