We arrived at 10:05 and drove out onto the field. It was sunny and windy with some thin, high clouds. The alfalfa had just been mowed about 2 weeks ago, but it was already about 40 cm tall.

I collected met and USB GHG data and swapped camera cards.

Isabel collected 5 clip plot samples. Joe checked and cleaned the solar panels and took veg height measurements. Elke cleaned the EC and radiation sensors and refilled the wash reservoir; it was 2/3 full.
