We arrived at 14:15. It was overcast, warm, with a light wind. We drove on the field to the tower. The alfalfa is fairly tall and will probably get mowed soon.

Elke refilled the wash reservoir; it was 3/4 full.

Kyle cleaned the EC and rad sensors. Kyle also switched out the default vertical mount for the Li-7500 for a tilted mount (see photos below). We powered down the Li-7500 and HMP for a brief time while switching the mount.

I collected the met and USB GHG data and swapped the camera card.

LI7500 readings:
CO2 406.9 umol/mol
H2O 507.9 mmol/m3
T 21.0 Celsius
P 102.1 kPa
SS 81.2 -> 81.8 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 1.94
RSSI: 37.6 -> 66.1 after cleaning

The 7500 is missing bird spikes.

We also collected canopy height data and collected 5 biomass samples. Average canopy was 20-30 cm tall.

We left at 14:45.

We installed a new mount for the Li-7500 which is slightly diagonal, and not exactly vertical.
