I arrived about 11:15 with Siyan. Everything was very dry, but the dust was pock marked like there was a little rain. Some of the trees are beginning to turn brown.

I checked on the Tower computer that has not been sending daily data. Seems like the user was logged off or it was sleeping. I told it not to go to sleep anymore and set the scheduled tasks to run even if the user was logged off.

I removed the Eosence 1k CO2 probes and CR6 sn 2115 from the tower. Probe sn GP20150084 las in the lowest 0.35m location and used channels 1-3 on the data logger. Probe sn GP20160003 was in the second lowest 1.8m location and used channels 4-6 on the data logger. This experiment is done.

I swapped the CO2 tank for the CO2 profile. The old tank was almost empty but had enough pressure to calibrate the system before swapping it out. I forgot to copy the screen shots of the calibration, but the offset were about 5ppm.

I serviced the z-cams â€“ the windows were dusty.

I took the band and id tag #11815 off the dead tree near the southwest guy wires for the tower. The Tonzi clan started to cut up the tree near the pond that was hit by lightning, so maybe they will cut this tree too.

The Tower Phenocam was not connecting. Wiggling the Ethernet cable near the camera seemed to fix it. Next time I need to replace the connecter or the cable.

There was a dead wood pecker on the tower. Its foot was caught between the tower and the lightning ground cable. Seemed an odd thing in that it was not very difficult to free its foot.

I cleaned the radiation sensors.
