Summary: Removed COS experiment temporary tower, water in 7550 box, restarted autocam at rice.

I arrived about 2:30 with Siyan. It was cool and mostly sunny with some clouds to the west. The water level in the ditches was very high.

We stopped at the rice tower to leave the big step ladder that I brought in from Tonzi. I checked the camera and it seemed to be off. I reset it. I need to add a couple of batteries to the solar system.

We went over to the building to bring in the temporary tower. We removed the Licor GHG system: sn AIU-1570, sn TG1-0424, and sn 75H-2669. While we were disassembling the tower, Siyan removed the 7550 box and said it sounded like there was water inside. Sure enough when I undid the latches and got the door open water poured out. There was some corrosion on a couple of the power connectors on the bottom board, but that board is almost completely sealed against water. The main boards higher in the box looked okay. As far as I can figure, the door must have been left unlatched and the storm blew it open and rained on it. Then someone found it but did not know who to call or how to get the water out since it was bolted to the tower. But they closed and latched the door to prevent any more water entering.

The rest of the temporary site came down easily and it was all brought back to the lab. I disconnected all the connectors in the 7550 box and blew out the connectors with canned air. Then I stuffed some desiccant packs in the box and left its door open. We will see how it does.
