Summary: PC208 was not communicating with the CR10x; adjusted batteries providing energy for proper procedure.
| Field trip today 13Mar01 Vaira - Flux system was operational - PC208 was not communicating with the CR10x. I believe the blue ribbon cable between the cr10 and MD9 was loose. Connection was re-established and once again I performed a manual data download from it - these files are not named according to the convention Dennis is using so who ever downloads data needs to capture these oddball files to complete the data sets - The battery array had 4 RV batteries and 1 sealed lead acid. Mixing battery types is not good procedure so I removed the sealed unit. Might be the problem with power failure and might not. - Reseated Francesca's chamber collars Both sites - The site logs are now short-cuts on the pcs desktop - I would request that when anyone makes an entry in these logs that they include their name with the date. THANKS There were some guy wires at the Tonzi site but appears to be for the existing tripods so Nancy will have to acquire more guy cable for the tripod she is erecting. |
